On October the 7th 1996, the first album by The Heads, `No Talking Just Heads` came out on RadioActive/MCA records in Europe. The US version followed one day later. The Heads are Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth and are NOT Talking Heads. To compensate for the lack of a permanent singer, every song on the album is sung by another artist who not only wrote and sung the lyrics, but also made the arrangements. The production of the album is done by the three Heads themselves.
This site is part of Francey's Talking-Heads.net, although it looks different. That's because it's a different site. Like The Heads are a different band.
Still, for the latest news about The Heads you have to check out the Headlines page of the Talking Heads site. Messages can be read and posted on the Talking Heads Bulletin Board and gossip can be exchanged in the chatroom. Confusing, isn't it ?
